99Kb Photo
The County Donegal Museum at Letterkenny has two dials in it's archives (restricted access - not on display). The photos shows one of these broken in three pieces with flaking on the surface and the gnomon is missing. 265mm square with cropped corners. There is a 32 point compass rose at the base of the gnomon marked "E" "S" and "W" laid out on the diagonal. The inscriptions have flaked off leaving only "Lat 55" and "...elly 1822". The hours are in roman numerals, four as IIII. Shows 4a.m. to 8p.m. in 30 and 15 min divisions, the half hours being marked with crows feet. There is an intertwining circle design in each of the four corners of the plate.

The museum is located at
Lat 54° 57' North  Long 7° 44' West
